E.E. Libin, S.V. Chakhlov, D. Trinca

TL;DR
This paper explores an algebraic method for image reconstruction via the inverse Radon transform, focusing on solving large linear systems and discussing potential improvements for mathematical techniques.
Contribution
It introduces an algebraic approach to inverse Radon transform reconstruction and suggests avenues for enhancing the mathematical methods involved.
Findings
Effective formulation of image reconstruction as a linear algebra problem
Identification of potential improvements in algebraic methods
Discussion of future research directions in mathematical approaches
Abstract
The purpose of this report is a study of the algebraic approach possibilities to reconstruct images. This approach is reduced to solution of the large system of linear algebraic equations. We also point out some possible further improvements of the mathematical approaches studied.
