Bernoulli equation and the nonexistence of maximal jets
Andrzej A. Zdziarski

TL;DR
This paper corrects a previous algebraic mistake regarding the concept of maximal jets, showing that the idea of maximum jet power being equal to rest mass kinetic power is invalid.
Contribution
It identifies and corrects an algebraic error in the original formulation of the maximal jets concept, clarifying the true relationship between jet power and rest mass.
Findings
The maximal jets concept is based on an algebraic mistake.
Maximum jet power does not equal the kinetic power in rest mass.
The corrected analysis alters the understanding of jet energetics.
Abstract
We discuss the idea of maximal jets introduced by Falcke & Biermann in 1995. According to it, the maximum possible jet power in its internal energy equals the kinetic power in its rest mass. We show this result is incorrect because of an unfortunate algebraic mistake.
