750 GeV Diphoton Signal from One-Family Walking Technipion
Shinya Matsuzaki, Koichi Yamawaki

TL;DR
This paper proposes that a composite pseudo scalar predicted by the one-family walking technicolor model could explain the 750 GeV diphoton excess observed at the LHC, providing a potential new physics signal.
Contribution
It introduces a novel explanation for the 750 GeV diphoton excess based on a specific technicolor model predicting a pseudo scalar particle.
Findings
The pseudo scalar can produce the observed diphoton signal.
The model aligns with the excess's energy and production rate.
It offers a new avenue for exploring technicolor theories.
Abstract
The ATLAS and CMS groups have recently reported an excess at around 750 GeV with the local significance by about 3 sigma in the diphoton channel at the 13 TeV LHC. We give a possible explanation for the excess by a composite pseudo scalar predicted in the one-family model of walking technicolor.
