Sergey Khrapak, Boris Klumov, Lenaic Couedel, Hubertus Thomas

TL;DR
This paper presents a simplified model for calculating dispersion relations in strongly coupled Yukawa fluids, showing good agreement with simulations and original methods in the long-wavelength limit.
Contribution
It introduces a simplified QLCA-based approach using a basic radial distribution function linked to thermodynamics for Yukawa systems.
Findings
The simplified model matches molecular dynamics results in the long-wavelength regime.
The approach offers a computationally efficient alternative to more complex methods.
Good agreement with the original QLCA validates the simplification.
Abstract
A useful simplification of the quasilocalizded charge approximations (QLCA) method to calculate the dispersion relations in strongly coupled Yukawa fluids is discussed. In this simplified version, a simplest possible model radial distribution function, properly related to the thermodynamic properties of the system, is used. The approach demonstrates good agreement with the dispersion relations obtained using the molecular dynamics simulations and the original QLCA in the long-wavelength regime.
