Possible new electric effect in superfluid systems
S. I. Shevchenko, A. M. Konstantinov

TL;DR
This paper predicts a novel electric effect caused by third sound propagation in superfluid films, which could be observed near the superfluid transition temperature when vortex pairs are present.
Contribution
It introduces a new theoretical prediction of an electric field generated by third sound in superfluid systems, especially near the transition temperature.
Findings
Electric field generated by third sound in superfluid films.
Observable effects near superfluid transition temperature.
Dependence on vortex pair density.
Abstract
We predict that propagation of third sound in a superfluid film creates an electric field in the surrounding area that can be observable with modern measurement devices when there are many vortex pairs in the system (e. g. in the vicinity of the superfluid transition temperature).
