Gradient Flow Coupling in the SU(2) gauge theory with two adjoint fermions
Jarno Rantaharju

TL;DR
This paper investigates the infrared behavior of SU(2) gauge theory with two adjoint fermions using gradient flow, identifying a fixed point and measuring the mass anomalous dimension.
Contribution
It provides the first continuum-extrapolated results for the fixed point and anomalous dimension in this theory using improved lattice techniques.
Findings
Identified an infrared fixed point with $4.5 \, \lesssim g^{*2} \lesssim 5$.
Measured the mass anomalous dimension as $0.25 \lesssim \gamma^* \lesssim 0.28$.
Achieved larger lattice simulations with improved actions.
Abstract
We study SU(2) gauge theory with two fermion flavors in the adjoint representation. Using a clover improved HEX smeared action and the gradient flow running coupling allows us to simulate with larger lattice size than before. We find an infrared fixed point after a continuum extrapolation in the range . We also measure the mass anomalous dimension and find the value at the fixed point.
