Vladimir A. Vladimirov

TL;DR
This paper provides a concise introduction to the Homogenization method using wave and diffusion equations with periodic coefficients, aiming to help practitioners quickly understand and apply the technique.
Contribution
It offers a brief, practical overview of the Homogenization method, illustrated through wave and diffusion equations, with an approach inspired by Vibrodynamics.
Findings
Clarifies the Homogenization process for wave and diffusion equations
Demonstrates the method with instructive examples
Provides guidance for immediate application of the method
Abstract
This note gives a brief and `crash' introduction to the method of Homogenization with the use of wave equation and diffusion equation with periodic in space coefficients as instructive examples. We expose the method with the use of an approach, which appears in Vibrodynamics. The note can be interesting for people who want to use the Homogenization method immediately.
