A note on quantum groups and integrable systems
Alexander Popolitov

TL;DR
This paper discusses how free-field formalism for quantum groups simplifies the construction of integrable systems and aligns with cluster variety frameworks, highlighting coordinate choices and mutations.
Contribution
It introduces a coordinate framework for quantum groups that simplifies integrable system construction and connects with cluster mutation theory.
Findings
Simplified construction of integrable systems using free-field formalism.
Connection established between quantum groups and cluster varieties.
Coordinate choices facilitate natural transformations via cluster mutations.
Abstract
Free-field formalism for quantum groups provides a special choice of coordinates on a quantum group. In these coordinates the construction of associated integrable system is especially simple. This choice also fits into general framework of cluster varieties -- natural changes of coordinates are cluster mutations.
