Contribution
It provides an overview of the theoretical foundations and connections between GPDs and TMDs, highlighting their significance in hadron structure studies.
Findings
Clarified the relationship between GPDs and TMDs
Summarized key theoretical properties of GPDs and TMDs
Connected GPDs and TMDs to physical observables
Abstract
Generalised parton distributions (GPDs) and transverse momentum dependent parton distributions (TMDs) describe complementary aspects of the three-dimensional structure of hadrons. We discuss their relation to each other and recall important theory results concerning their properties and their connection with physical observables.
