Dynamical net charge fluctuations at RHIC energies in STAR
Bhanu Sharma (for the STAR Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports on the measurement of dynamical net-charge fluctuations in gold-gold collisions at various RHIC energies, analyzing how these fluctuations depend on collision centrality and energy.
Contribution
It provides new experimental data on net-charge fluctuations at lower RHIC energies and compares them with higher energy results, enhancing understanding of QCD matter.
Findings
Net-charge fluctuations decrease with increasing collision centrality.
Fluctuation patterns vary across different collision energies.
Results suggest possible signals of QGP formation at certain energies.
Abstract
We present preliminary results from the study of dynamical net-charge fluctuations measured in Au+Au collisions at = 39 GeV to 7.7 GeV and compare with the published results at higher collision energies. We also present the centrality dependence of the dynamical net-charge fluctuations.
