TL;DR
This paper reports on lattice QCD calculations of charm meson decay constants and related parameters using physical pion mass ensembles with M"obius Domain Wall Fermions, providing insights into charm physics.
Contribution
It presents a detailed analysis strategy and results for $D$ and $D_s$ decay constants, bag, and $\xi$ parameters using physical pion mass ensembles, and discusses future heavy quark mass extensions.
Findings
Decay constants for D and D_s mesons are computed.
Bag and $\xi$ parameters are evaluated with high precision.
Analysis strategies improve accuracy in charm physics calculations.
Abstract
We provide an overview of RBC/UKQCD's charm project on 2+1 flavour physical pion mass ensembles using M\"obius Domain Wall Fermions for the light as well as for the charm quark. We discuss the analysis strategy in detail and present results at the different stages of the analysis for and decay constants as well as the bag and parameters. We also discuss future approaches to extend the reach in the heavy quark mass.
