Sang-Ho Kim, Atsushi Hosaka, Hyun-Chul Kim, and Hiroyuki Noumi

TL;DR
This paper models pion-induced reactions to study charmed baryons, providing predictions for cross sections that inform upcoming experiments at J-PARC.
Contribution
It introduces a combined effective Lagrangian and hybrid Regge model to analyze charm production in pion-proton reactions, which is novel in this context.
Findings
Calculated total and differential cross sections for $K^{*0} \\Lambda$ production.
Estimated cross sections for $D^{*-} \\Lambda_c^+$ production.
Different results from the two models, highlighting specific features.
Abstract
In this talk, we report the study of and reactions by using an effective Lagrangian method and a hybrid Regge model. The total and differential cross sections for the production are first calculated and then those for the one are estimated. The two models yield different results, each exhibiting specific features. Our prediction for the charm production provides valuable information about the upcoming J-PARC experiment.
