Decentralization of a Machine: Some Definitions
Pradeep Dubey

TL;DR
This paper introduces formal definitions of decentralization for deterministic machines, enabling the integration of game-theoretic concepts like strategic players into machine design.
Contribution
It provides foundational notions of decentralization that facilitate the incorporation of game theory into deterministic machine architectures.
Findings
Defines formal measures of decentralization.
Enables modeling strategic interactions within machines.
Lays groundwork for future game-theoretic machine designs.
Abstract
We define some notions of the decentralization of a deterministic input-output machine. This opens the possibility for introducing game-theoretic elements -- such as strategic players -- inside the machine, as part of its design.
