J/$\psi$ and $\psi$(2S) production in p-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}=\mathrm{5.02}$ TeV with ALICE at the LHC
Marco Leoncino (for the ALICE Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports on the measurement of J/ψ and ψ(2S) production in proton-lead collisions at 5.02 TeV at the LHC, showing differences in nuclear modification factors and comparing results with theoretical models.
Contribution
First measurement of J/ψ and ψ(2S) production in p-Pb collisions at 5.02 TeV with detailed decay channel analysis and nuclear modification factors.
Findings
J/ψ production agrees with theoretical predictions
ψ(2S) shows smaller nuclear modification factor than J/ψ
Results provide insights into cold nuclear matter effects
Abstract
The ALICE Collaboration has studied the inclusive J/ and production in p-Pb collisions at = 5.02 TeV, at the CERN LHC. The J/ measurement is performed in the and in the decay channels, down to zero . The results are in fair agreement with theoretical predictions. The measurement has also been performed. In particular, a smaller nuclear modification factor, with respect to the J one, has been observed.
