TL;DR
This paper calculates the hadronic light-by-light scattering contributions to the muon g-2 using a nonlocal quark model, providing a detailed estimate of the quark loop and total effects.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive calculation of hadronic light-by-light contributions within a nonlocal chiral quark model, including all relevant diagrams at leading order.
Findings
Quark loop contribution: (11.0 ± 0.9) × 10^{-10}
Total hadronic light-by-light contribution: (16.8 ± 1.2) × 10^{-10}
Provides a gauge-invariant, full set of diagrams in the nonlocal quark model framework.
Abstract
The hadronic corrections to the muon anomalous magnetic moment, due to the full gauge-invariant set of diagrams with dynamical quark loop and intermediate pseudoscalar and scalar states light-by-light scattering insertions, are calculated in the framework of the nonlocal chiral quark model. These diagrams correspond to all hadronic light-by-light scattering contributions to in the leading order of the expansion in quark model. The result for the quark loop contribution is , and the total result is .
