Higher rank BN-theory for curves of genus 4
H. Lange, P.E. Newstead

TL;DR
This paper extends the understanding of higher rank Brill-Noether theory from genus 3 to genus 4 curves, providing new insights and results that also have broader applicability.
Contribution
It advances higher rank Brill-Noether theory specifically for genus 4 curves and offers results applicable to arbitrary genus cases.
Findings
Complete description of higher rank BN-theory for genus 4 curves
New results applicable to arbitrary genus
Enhanced understanding of vector bundles on algebraic curves
Abstract
Higher rank Brill-Noether theory is completely known for curves of genus . In this paper, we investigate the theory for curves of genus 4. Some of our results apply to curves of arbitrary genus.
