Modified Radon transform inversion using moments in $\mathbb{R}^2$
Hayoung Choi, Farhad Jafari, Robert Mnatsakanov

TL;DR
This paper introduces a modified Radon transform suitable for noisy data and develops an inversion formula, focusing on recovering multivariate probability densities from the moments of this transform.
Contribution
It presents a new modified Radon transform and establishes an inversion method based on moments for noisy data in two dimensions.
Findings
Inversion formula for the modified Radon transform is derived.
Method enables recovery of probability densities from noisy Radon data.
Applicable to multivariate density estimation in noisy environments.
Abstract
A modified Radon transform for noisy data is introduced and its inversion formula is established. The problem of recovering the multivariate probability density function from the moments of its modified Radon transform is considered.
