TL;DR
This paper calculates scalar-fermion conformal blocks in 3D CFTs, completing the set of seed blocks needed to derive blocks for operators with arbitrary spins, thus advancing the computational toolkit for conformal bootstrap studies.
Contribution
It provides the explicit computation of scalar-fermion conformal blocks in 3D, filling a key gap in the seed blocks necessary for broader applications.
Findings
Complete set of seed blocks for 3D scalar-fermion correlators
Facilitates derivation of higher-spin conformal blocks via differential operators
Enhances computational methods in 3D conformal bootstrap
Abstract
We compute the conformal blocks associated with scalar-scalar-fermion-fermion 4-point functions in 3D CFTs. Together with the known scalar conformal blocks, our result completes the task of determining the so-called `seed blocks' in three dimensions. Conformal blocks associated with 4-point functions of operators with arbitrary spins can now be determined from these seed blocks by using known differential operators.
