TL;DR
This paper studies the production of neutral hidden charm pentaquark states in pion-proton collisions, predicting observable peaks in cross sections that can guide future experimental searches at J-PARC.
Contribution
It introduces an effective Lagrangian model to analyze neutral $P_c$ states in pion-induced reactions, highlighting their potential detection through specific energy peaks.
Findings
Clear peak structures at 4.38 GeV and 4.45 GeV in cross sections.
Reaction provides a promising platform to search for neutral $P_c$ states.
Predicted angular distributions can be tested in future experiments.
Abstract
We investigate the neutral hidden charm pentaquark states and in reaction within an effective Lagrangian approach. The background contributions for the process mainly come from -channel and meson exchanges. The contributions of and states give clear peak structures in the magnitude of 1 b at center of mass energy 4.38 GeV and 4.45 GeV in the total cross sections. Hence, this reaction may provide a new good platform to search for neutral states. It is expected that our estimated total cross sections together with the angular distributions can be tested by future experiments at J-PARC.
