Correlation inequalities for the quantum XY model
Costanza Benassi, Benjamin Lees, Daniel Ueltschi

TL;DR
This paper establishes correlation inequalities for the quantum XY model with spin 1/2 and spin 1, extending previous results and applicable at any temperature or in the ground state.
Contribution
It generalizes Griffiths-Ginibre inequalities to the quantum XY model for different spin values and temperature conditions.
Findings
Positivity and negativity of truncated correlation functions proven.
Extension of Griffiths-Ginibre inequalities to quantum XY model.
Applicable to both spin 1/2 at any temperature and spin 1 in the ground state.
Abstract
We show the positivity or negativity of truncated correlation functions in the quantum XY model with spin 1/2 (at any temperature) and spin 1 (in the ground state). These Griffiths-Ginibre inequalities of the second kind generalise an earlier result of Gallavotti.
