Wei-Hong Liang, Ju-Jun Xie, E. Oset

TL;DR
This paper predicts invariant mass distributions for various B meson decays into J/psi and meson pairs using a parameter-free theoretical approach, aiming to enhance understanding of meson interactions and scalar resonances.
Contribution
It introduces a parameter-free theoretical model for B meson decays into J/psi and meson pairs, linking decay distributions to meson-meson interactions and scalar resonances.
Findings
Predicted invariant mass distributions without free parameters.
Comparison with limited experimental data shows good agreement.
Provides predictions for future LHCb measurements.
Abstract
We study the , , , and decays and compare their mass distributions with those obtained for the and . The approach followed consist in a factorization of the weak part and the hadronization part into a factor which is common to all the processes. Then what makes the reactions different are some trivial Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix elements and the weight by which the different pairs of mesons appear in a primary step plus their final state interaction. These elements are part of the theory and thus, up to a global normalization factor, all the invariant mass distributions are predicted with no free parameters. Comparison is made with the limited experimental information…
