Derivative bounds for fractional maximal functions
Emanuel Carneiro, Jos\'e Madrid

TL;DR
This paper investigates the regularity of fractional maximal operators on BV-functions, establishing new derivative bounds in both continuous and discrete contexts to advance understanding of their behavior.
Contribution
It introduces novel bounds for the derivatives of fractional maximal functions acting on BV-functions, applicable in both continuous and discrete settings.
Findings
New bounds for derivatives of fractional maximal functions
Applicability in both continuous and discrete frameworks
Enhanced understanding of regularity properties of these operators
Abstract
In this paper we study the regularity properties of fractional maximal operators acting on -functions. We establish new bounds for the derivative of the fractional maximal function, both in the continuous and in the discrete settings.
