TL;DR
This paper analyzes kaon regeneration in a medium using perturbation theory, clarifying previous calculations and addressing the transition and decay processes of kaons.
Contribution
It introduces a perturbation theory approach to accurately model kaon regeneration and corrects prior methods that addressed related but distinct problems.
Findings
Perturbation theory effectively describes kaon transitions in media.
Previous calculations misinterpreted the problem scope.
The method clarifies the dynamics of kaon decay and regeneration.
Abstract
transitions in a medium followed by decay and regeneration of -component are considered by means of perturbation theory. It is shown that in the previous calculations the problem different from regeneration is solved.
