Scattering of entangled two-photon states
John C. Schotland, A. Caze, Theodore B. Norris

TL;DR
This paper investigates how entangled two-photon states scatter from small particles and spheres, analyzing how the initial entanglement affects the entanglement after scattering, with implications for quantum information processing.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of the entanglement dynamics during scattering from particles and spheres, highlighting the influence of incident entanglement on scattered entanglement.
Findings
Entanglement entropy varies with scattering conditions.
Initial entanglement influences the scattered field's entanglement.
Scattering modifies the entanglement properties of two-photon states.
Abstract
We consider the scattering of entangled two-photon states from collections of small particles. We also study the related Mie problem of scattering from a sphere. In both cases, we calculate the entropy of entanglement and investigate the influence of the entanglement of the incident field on the entanglement of the scattered field.
