Mariola K{\l}usek-Gawenda, Antoni Szczurek

TL;DR
This paper investigates the double-scattering mechanism for producing two $ ho^0$ mesons in ultraperipheral heavy ion collisions, calculating cross sections and comparing with experimental data from STAR and ALICE.
Contribution
It provides a detailed calculation of double $ ho^0$ production cross sections using impact parameter space equivalent photon approximation, enhancing understanding of meson production in heavy ion collisions.
Findings
Calculated cross sections for double $ ho^0$ production match experimental data.
Compared theoretical results with STAR and ALICE measurements.
Demonstrated the significance of double-scattering mechanisms in meson production.
Abstract
We review our recent results for double-scattering mechanism in the exclusive reaction in ultrarelativistic ultraperipheral heavy ion collisions. The cross section for single and double- production is calculated in the impact parameter space equivalent photon approximation. We compare the results of our calculation with the STAR and ALICE Collaboration results on one meson and four-charged-pion production.
