Real-time, local spline interpolation schemes on bounded intervals
Maria D. van der Walt

TL;DR
This paper introduces a local polynomial spline interpolation method for bounded intervals that is suitable for real-time applications due to its local nature, boundary handling, and optimal error performance.
Contribution
It presents a novel local spline interpolation scheme applicable to any spline order on bounded intervals, emphasizing real-time implementation.
Findings
Achieves optimal interpolation error rate.
Effective boundary treatment for bounded intervals.
Suitable for real-time applications.
Abstract
We develop a local polynomial spline interpolation scheme for arbitrary spline order on bounded intervals. Our method's local formulation, effective boundary considerations and optimal interpolation error rate make it particularly useful for real-time implementation in real-world applications.
