The $K^- p \to f_1(1285) \Lambda$ reaction within an effective Lagrangian approach
Ju-Jun Xie

TL;DR
This paper investigates the production of the $f_1(1285)$ resonance in the reaction $K^- p o f_1(1285) \Lambda$ using an effective Lagrangian approach, supporting the resonance's dynamical generation from $ar{K} K^*$ interactions.
Contribution
It introduces a theoretical model for the reaction based on chiral unitary theory, reproducing experimental data and supporting the $ar{K} K^*$ nature of $f_1(1285)$.
Findings
Total and differential cross sections match experimental data.
Supports the $f_1(1285)$ as a dynamically generated state.
Provides evidence for the $ar{K} K^*$ structure of the resonance.
Abstract
The production of the resonance in the reaction of is studied within an effective Lagrangian approach. The production process is described by the channel meson exchange. My theoretical approach is based on the results of chiral unitary theory where the resonance is dynamically generated from the single channel interaction. The total and differential cross sections of the reaction are evaluated. Within the coupling constant of the to channel obtained from the chiral unitary theory and a cut off parameter GeV in the form factors, the experimental measurement can be reproduced. This production process would provide further evidence for the nature of the state.
