Blast wave fits with resonances to $p_t$ spectra from nuclear collisions at the LHC
Ivan Melo, Boris Tomasik

TL;DR
This paper analyzes transverse momentum spectra from LHC nuclear collisions to extract freeze-out conditions, emphasizing the critical role of resonance decays in accurate modeling.
Contribution
It introduces a comprehensive fitting method that incorporates resonance decays to determine freeze-out temperature and flow profiles from experimental data.
Findings
Resonance decays significantly affect spectral fits.
Freeze-out temperature and flow profiles are extracted with improved accuracy.
Resonance decay inclusion is essential for reliable results.
Abstract
We report our results for the freeze-out temperature and transverse flow profile obtained from fits to hadronic spectra measured by the ALICE collaboration. The influence of resonance decays is important and cannot be simply accounted for without the inclusion of their decays into the fits.
