Marat Akhmet, Mehmet Onur Fen, Mokhtar Kirane

TL;DR
This paper studies the existence and stability of almost periodic solutions in a new model of retarded shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with piecewise constant argument, providing theoretical results and an example.
Contribution
It introduces a novel model for SICNNs with piecewise constant argument and analyzes the existence and stability of almost periodic solutions.
Findings
Existence of almost periodic solutions is established.
Exponential stability of these solutions is proven.
An illustrative example demonstrates the theoretical results.
Abstract
We consider a new model for shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks, retarded functional differential equations with piecewise constant argument. The existence and exponential stability of almost periodic solutions are investigated. An illustrative example is provided.
