TL;DR
This paper extends the ab initio no-core shell model with continuum to better describe three-cluster nuclear systems, demonstrating improved results for 6He ground state over previous methods.
Contribution
It introduces a new extension of the ab initio no-core shell model with continuum specifically for three-cluster systems, enhancing predictive accuracy.
Findings
Improved ground state description of 6He.
Enhanced accuracy over previous no-core methods.
Abstract
We introduce the extension of the ab initio no-core shell model with continuum to describe three-body cluster systems. We present results for the ground state of 6He and show improvements with respect to the description obtained within the no-core shell model and the no-core shell model/resonating group methods.
