Dipole moments of charged leptons in the THDM-III with Textures
M. Arroyo-Ure\~na, Enrique D\'iaz

TL;DR
This paper investigates how the Two Higgs Doublet Model type III with textures can explain the muon g-2 anomaly and predicts magnetic dipole moments for charged leptons, especially the tau, based on experimental constraints.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive analysis of the parameter space of THDM-III with textures to reconcile muon g-2 discrepancy and predicts lepton dipole moments consistent with experimental data.
Findings
Muon anomalous magnetic moment can be explained within THDM-III parameter space.
Predicted tau lepton magnetic dipole moment is of order 10^{-8} to 10^{-7}.
Weak magnetic moments are of order 10^{-10} to 10^{-7}.
Abstract
We study the magnetic and weak magnetic dipole moments of charged leptons in the framework of the Two Higgs Doublet Model type III (THDM-III) with four zero textures. We first analyze the possibility that the discrepancy between the experimental measurements and the theoretical prediction of the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment () in the Standard Model (SM) can be explained in the context of the model and then find values for the parameters of the THDM-III: neutral and charged Higgs boson masses (, ), mixing angles (), CP-violating angles and an additional parameter arising from the mass matrix (), for which a correspondence between theory and experiment is possible. We use and current low energy processes mixing, , , $\mu\to e e…
