A note on the fractional logistic equation
I. Area, J. Losada, J.J. Nieto

TL;DR
This paper clarifies that a previously proposed solution to the fractional logistic equation is not exact, correcting a misconception in the existing literature.
Contribution
It provides a critical correction to prior claims about an exact solution to the fractional logistic equation.
Findings
The proposed solution by West is not exact.
Clarifies the nature of solutions to the fractional logistic equation.
Highlights the need for accurate solution methods.
Abstract
In this short note, we show that the real function recently proposed by Bruce J. West [Exact solution to fractional logistic equation, Physica A 429 (2015) 103--108] is not an exact solution for the fractional logistic equation.
