Leihua Liu, Liye Xiao

TL;DR
This paper derives model-independent helicity amplitudes for pseudo-scalar meson photoproduction involving baryons with spins 1/2 and 3/2+, using the chiral quark model and partial wave analysis.
Contribution
It provides new, model-independent formulas for helicity amplitudes in pseudo-scalar meson photoproduction involving specific baryon states.
Findings
Derived helicity amplitudes for J^P=3/2^+ baryons.
Established relations for J^P=1/2^- amplitudes based on parity.
Formulated scattering amplitudes from the chiral quark model.
Abstract
We derive the separate helicity amplitudes involving the partial wave analysis in the process of pseudo-scalar meson photon productions with , which is independent on model. According to parity, the general amplitude in the case of is given out. We prove this general amplitude is corresponding to the situation of as adopting the circular polarization. Finally, the formulas of scattering amplitudes involving the photon-meson production with are obtained from the chiral quark model.
