Four-loop Standard Model effective potential at leading order in QCD
Stephen P. Martin

TL;DR
This paper computes the leading QCD contribution to the four-loop effective potential of the Standard Model Higgs field and the related four-loop beta function of the Higgs self-coupling, advancing precision in theoretical predictions.
Contribution
It provides the first calculation of the four-loop QCD contribution to the Standard Model effective potential and Higgs self-coupling beta function.
Findings
Calculated the leading QCD four-loop effective potential contribution.
Derived the four-loop beta function for the Higgs self-interaction.
Enhanced the precision of theoretical predictions in the Standard Model.
Abstract
The leading QCD part of the four-loop contribution to the effective potential for the Standard Model Higgs field is found. As a byproduct, I also find the corresponding contribution to the four-loop beta function of the Higgs self-interaction coupling.
