Hiroyuki Umeeda, Takuya Morozumi, Hideaki Okane

TL;DR
This paper examines T-asymmetry in B-meson decays, explicitly evaluates CP violation contributions, and proposes conditions under which the asymmetry is genuinely T-odd, considering phase invariance and decay rate factors.
Contribution
It provides a detailed formulation of T-asymmetry in B-meson decays, including CP violation effects and phase convention independence, with explicit conditions for true T-odd observables.
Findings
Explicit evaluation of $ ext{CP}$ violation contribution from $ ext{ε}_K$
Formulation of phase convention independent asymmetry
Conditions identified for the asymmetry to be genuinely T-odd
Abstract
Through mixing system, one can construct an asymmetry which naively seems to be a time reversal (T) odd quantity. In this article, the two processes and are used to construct the event number asymmetry. The CP violation of Kaon system denoted as contributes to observables and we evaluate the contribution from explicitly. The asymmetry is formulated with phase convention independent parameters which are invariant under redefinition of phase of quark fields. The overall factors of the time dependent decay rates are taken into account in this article. Furthermore, we suggest conditions for the asymmetry to be a T-odd quantity. The one of such conditions arises due to the difference of overall factors which form the asymmetry.
