TL;DR
This paper introduces weighted cumulative residual and past entropy measures for systems with double truncation, providing new bounds and properties to assess failure time predictability in such contexts.
Contribution
It extends the concept of weighted cumulative entropy to doubly truncated data, offering novel theoretical bounds and properties.
Findings
Derived bounds for weighted residual and past entropy in double truncation cases
Established properties of these entropy measures under truncation conditions
Enhanced understanding of failure time predictability with new entropy measures
Abstract
Measure of the weighted cumulative entropy about the predictability of failure time of a system have been introduced in [3]. Referring properties of doubly truncated (interval) cumulative residual and past entropy, several bounds and assertions are proposed in weighted version.
