Impedance operator description of a meta--surface with electric and magnetic dipoles
Didier Felbacq

TL;DR
This paper develops an impedance operator framework to describe a meta-surface composed of nano-resonators with electric and magnetic dipoles, applicable in the large-wavelength regime.
Contribution
It introduces a novel impedance operator model for meta-surfaces with electric and magnetic dipoles, enhancing understanding of their electromagnetic behavior.
Findings
Derived an effective impedance operator for the meta-surface.
Applicable in the regime where wavelength exceeds resonator size.
Provides a new theoretical tool for meta-surface analysis.
Abstract
A meta-surface made of a collection of nano-resonators characterized an electric dipole and a magnetic dipole was studied in the regime where the wavelength is large with respect to the size of the resonators. An effective description in terms of an impedance operator was derived.
