Daniel Andr\'es D\'iaz-Pach\'on, Francisco J. P. Zimmermann, Luis, Alberto L\'opez

TL;DR
This paper details the structure of F tests, variance components, and degrees of freedom for various models in the strip-split plot design, providing a comprehensive framework for analysis.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed framework for F tests and variance components specific to the strip-split plot design, expanding on traditional experimental design analysis.
Findings
Provides explicit formulas for F tests in strip-split plot models
Illustrates the application with a practical example
Compares the strip-split plot design to other experimental designs
Abstract
In this article we present the structure of the tests, the variance components and the approximate degrees of freedom for each of the eight possible mixed models of the strip-split plot design. We present an example to illustrate the model and compare it to more traditional settings like a three-way factorial design and a split-split plot model.
