TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that the complex-mass scheme can be effectively applied to multi-loop diagrams in hadronic effective field theory, ensuring proper power counting at two-loop order.
Contribution
It introduces the application of the complex-mass renormalization scheme to two-loop diagrams in hadronic EFT, maintaining consistent power counting.
Findings
Two-loop self-energy diagram renormalization is consistent with power counting.
The complex-mass scheme is applicable at higher-loop orders in hadronic EFT.
Renormalization preserves the theoretical consistency of multi-loop calculations.
Abstract
We discuss the application of the complex-mass scheme to multi-loop diagrams in hadronic effective field theory by considering as an example a two-loop self-energy diagram. We show that the renormalized two-loop diagram satisfies the power counting.
