TL;DR
This paper identifies a necessary condition, expressed via harmonic variations, for complex deformations of K"ahler-Ricci solitons, advancing understanding of their deformation theory.
Contribution
It introduces a formal obstruction condition based on harmonic variations, providing new insights into the deformation space of K"ahler-Ricci solitons.
Findings
Obstruction expressed through harmonic part of complex structure variation
Necessary condition for polarised complex deformations
Advances deformation theory of K"ahler-Ricci solitons
Abstract
We obtain a formal obstruction, i.e. a necessary condition for the existence of polarised complex deformations of K\"ahler-Ricci solitons. This obstruction is expressed in terms of the harmonic part of the variation of the complex structure.
