Physical realization of the generalized fully frustrated XY model in an array of SFS junctions
S.E. Korshunov

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates how a specific frustrated XY model's phase diagram can be physically realized using arrays of superconductor-ferromagnet-superconductor junctions near the $ ext{0-} ext{ extpi}$ transition, reproducing the theoretical topology.
Contribution
It provides a practical implementation of the generalized fully frustrated XY model in SFS junction arrays, confirming the predicted phase diagram topology.
Findings
Phase diagram topology is reproduced in SFS junction arrays.
The phase diagram appears on both sides of the 0-π transition.
Physical realization confirms theoretical predictions.
Abstract
We show that a physical realization of the phase diagram proposed by Minnhagen et al. [Phys. Rev. B 78, 184432 (2008)] for so-called generalized fully frustrated XY model on square lattice can be achieved in arrays of SFS (superconductor-ferromagnet-superconductor) junctions near the transition of the junctions to -state. Moreover, the phase diagram with such a topology has to be reproduced twice, on both sides of the transition.
