Andrey Piatnitski, Vasily Zhikov

TL;DR
This paper develops a homogenized model for a Navier-Stokes-type system describing electrorheological fluids with random properties, proving convergence and analyzing the structure of the limit equations under non-standard growth conditions.
Contribution
It introduces a novel homogenization approach for stochastic Navier-Stokes systems modeling electrorheological fluids with complex growth behaviors.
Findings
Established convergence of the homogenized model
Derived the structure of the limit equations
Addressed non-standard growth conditions
Abstract
The paper deals with homogenization of Navier-Stokes-type system describing electrorheologial fluid with random characteristics. Under non-standard growth conditions we construct the homogenized model and prove the convergence result. The structure of the limit equations is also studied
