Minimal Set of Texture Specific Quark Mass Matrices
Samandeep Sharma, Gulsheen Ahuja

TL;DR
This paper identifies a minimal set of texture-specific quark mass matrices within the Standard Model and its extensions, using weak basis transformations and naturalness principles to reduce complexity.
Contribution
It introduces a minimal viable set of quark mass matrices based on texture-specific assumptions, simplifying the understanding of quark masses and mixing.
Findings
A particular set of texture-specific quark mass matrices is identified.
The minimal set is consistent with the Standard Model and some extensions.
The approach uses weak basis transformations and naturalness principles.
Abstract
Starting with the most general mass matrices, within the context of Standard Model and some of its extensions, incorporating the ideas of weak basis transformations and naturalness, we find that there exists a particular set of texture specific quark mass matrices which can be considered to be the minimal viable option.
