Canonical Description of T-duality for Fundamental String and D1-Brane and Double Wick Rotation
J. Kluson

TL;DR
This paper explores how T-duality transformations in the canonical formalism relate to double Wick rotations for fundamental strings and D1-branes, revealing connections between world-sheet and target space symmetries.
Contribution
It provides a canonical formalism analysis of T-duality and clarifies the relationship between double Wick rotations and T-dualities for strings and D1-branes.
Findings
T-duality transformations can be described in canonical formalism.
Double Wick rotation corresponds to a sequence of T-dualities and Wick rotations.
The study clarifies the geometric interpretation of these symmetries.
Abstract
We study T-duality transformations in canonical formalism for Nambu-Gotto action. Then we investigate the relation between world-sheet double Wick rotation and sequence of target space T-dualities and Wick rotation in case of fundamental string and D1-brane.
