Supakchai Ponglertsakul, Sam Dolan, Elizabeth Winstanley

TL;DR
This paper explores the end states of superradiant instability in charged black holes with a mirror, presenting new hairy black hole solutions and analyzing their stability within Einstein-charged scalar field theory.
Contribution
It introduces fully coupled gravity-scalar field solutions and examines their linear stability, advancing understanding of black hole end-states in this context.
Findings
Hairy black hole solutions found in the coupled system
Linear stability analysis conducted for these solutions
Insights into superradiant instability endpoints
Abstract
We investigate possible end-points of the superradiant instability for a charged black hole with a reflecting mirror. By considering a fully coupled system of gravity and a charged scalar field, hairy black hole solutions are obtained. The linear stability of these black hole solutions is studied.
