Contribution
The paper presents a novel optical method employing an integrating sphere to determine the anisotropy parameter of microcell suspensions.
Findings
Results for TiO2 particles align with Mie theory.
The method provides a reliable way to measure anisotropy in microcell suspensions.
Abstract
In this paper we present a technique to measure the anisotropy parameter a suspension of microscopic particles. To estimate this parameter we use an integrating sphere as light collector, as well as a powder sample spherical particles of TiO with an average diameter m. The results for the sample of TiO are consistent with Mie calculations.
