$^{3}_{\Lambda}\mathrm H$ and $^{3}_{\bar{\Lambda}} \overline{\mathrm H}$ production in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 2.76 TeV
ALICE Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports the first measurement of hypertriton and anti-hypertriton production in Pb-Pb collisions at 2.76 TeV, showing consistency with thermal models and providing insights into their yields, coalescence parameters, and lifetimes.
Contribution
It presents the first experimental measurement of hypertriton production at LHC energies, comparing results with thermal and coalescence models, and measuring their lifetimes.
Findings
Hypertriton yield consistent with thermal model predictions.
Coalescence parameter $B_3$ depends on transverse momentum.
Hypertriton lifetime compatible with world average.
Abstract
The production of the hypertriton nuclei and has been measured for the first time in Pb-Pb collisions at = 2.76 TeV with the ALICE experiment at LHC energies. The total yield, d/d in the 0-10% most central collisions, is consistent with the predictions from a statistical thermal model using the same temperature as for the light hadrons. The coalescence parameter shows a dependence on the transverse momentum, similar to the of deuterons and the of nuclei. The ratio of yields = /( ) was measured to be…
