Mirjam Cvetic, Zain H. Saleem, Alejandro Satz

TL;DR
This paper presents the first exact analytical formula for vacuum polarization of a massless scalar field at the horizon of a rotating black hole with subtracted geometry, advancing understanding of quantum effects in such spacetimes.
Contribution
It provides the first known analytical solution for vacuum polarization in a four-dimensional rotating black hole with subtracted geometry.
Findings
Derived an explicit formula for vacuum polarization at the horizon.
First exact analytical result for a rotating black hole in four dimensions.
Abstract
We give an analytical formula for the vacuum polarization of a massless minimally coupled scalar field at the horizon of a rotating black hole with subtracted geometry. This is the first example of an exact, analytical result for a four-dimensional rotating black hole.
