TL;DR
This study observes the $X(1835)$ particle in $J/39$ decays, determines its spin-parity as $0^{-+}$, and measures its mass and width with high statistical significance, confirming previous findings.
Contribution
First to perform a partial wave analysis of $X(1835)$ in the $K^0_S K^0_S \u03b7$ channel, establishing its spin-parity and precise mass and width measurements.
Findings
$X(1835)$ observed with >12.9$c$ significance.
Spin-parity of $X(1835)$ determined as $0^{-+}$.
Mass and width consistent with previous measurements.
Abstract
We report an observation of the process at low mass with a statistical significance larger than 12.9 using a data sample of events collected with the BESIII detector. In this region of phase space the system is dominantly produced through the . By performing a partial wave analysis, we determine the spin-parity of the to be . The mass and width of the observed are ~\MeV~and ~MeV, respectively, which are consistent with the results obtained by BESIII in the channel .
