Nikolaos Kidonakis

TL;DR
This paper discusses recent high-order theoretical calculations for electroweak boson and single-top production, including soft-gluon corrections, total cross sections, and differential distributions relevant to the LHC.
Contribution
It provides new high-order theoretical predictions for electroweak boson and top quark production processes, incorporating soft-gluon corrections for improved accuracy.
Findings
Enhanced predictions for W and Z boson production at high transverse momentum
Updated total cross sections for single-top and FCNC top production
Differential distributions aligning with experimental data
Abstract
I present results from recent high-order calculations for the production of electroweak bosons and top quarks. In particular, I discuss and boson production at large transverse momentum, single-top production, and FCNC top production. Theoretical predictions which include higher-order soft-gluon corrections are presented for total cross sections and differential distributions at the LHC.
